- A Trip Down Memory Lane: Airbnb reviews the prices we’ve set for a specific date over the past 60 days, arranging them in order.
- The Middle Path: The median is the price right in the center of this list. If there’s an even number of prices, it’s the average of the two middle ones.For instance, if over two months I’ve priced a date as:
- Price 1: $90
- Price 2: $100
- Price 3: $125
- Price 4: $140
- Showcasing the Deal: If my current price for that date is at least 10% less than the median, Airbnb highlights it as a promotion. So, if I’m charging $100 now, guests will see:
$112.50$100. A delightful nudge for those on the fence!
